How this boxing tonight page works
This page shows the big fight nights: boxing tonight if there is a major card, the next UFC event, and the fights coming up after that. The dark panel at the top is today. If there is no big fight today, it shows the next one, with its date and start time.
The list fills itself. Once a day it checks a public sports database for new fight nights and changed dates, and refreshes the page. A fight night drops off the list on its own once the event is over.
All times follow your device, so the same UFC card shows in UK time in London, Eastern time in New York and local time in Sydney.
Start time or main event? Read this first
The time on each card is when the event starts, which usually means the first fights on the undercard or the prelims. The main event comes later, often two to four hours after the start. That is the most common reason people miss a fight, so it is worth a quick check before you settle in.
| Event | How the night runs | Main event, roughly |
|---|---|---|
| UFC numbered event in Las Vegas | Early prelims, prelims, then the main card at about 10pm Eastern | Around midnight Eastern, about 5am UK |
| UFC Fight Night in the US | Prelims, then a main card that often starts at 7pm or 8pm Eastern | Late evening Eastern, early morning UK |
| UFC event in Europe, the Middle East or Australia | Starts in the local afternoon or evening | Local evening, so much easier for UK and European viewers |
| Big boxing night in the UK | Undercard from early evening | Ring walks often 10pm to 11pm UK |
| Big boxing night in the US | Undercard from the evening | Often 11pm Eastern or later, early morning UK |
Ring walk times move on the night. If early fights end quickly the main event can start sooner, and long fights push it back.

Boxing tonight: how a fight night runs
A big boxing night builds up slowly. The undercard starts in the early evening with prospects and shorter fights, then come the chief support bout and, last, the main event. That last fight is the one most people mean when they search for boxing tonight, and it is usually the one with the latest start.

Professional rounds last three minutes with a one-minute rest. World title fights are scheduled for 12 rounds, and many undercard fights for four to ten. A fight can end early by knockout (KO), by the referee stopping it (TKO), or go the distance to the judges. Each judge scores every round, usually 10 points to the winner of the round and 9 or fewer to the loser, and the scores give a unanimous, split or majority decision.
World titles in boxing
Boxing has 17 weight classes, from minimumweight up to heavyweight, and four major sanctioning bodies: the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO. Each one has its own world champion in each weight class. A fighter who holds all four belts at the same weight is called undisputed champion, and those fights are some of the biggest nights of the year. When you see “world title” on a fight night on this page, at least one of those belts is on the line.
UFC: how a fight card is built
A UFC card has three parts: early prelims, prelims and the main card. Numbered events, like UFC 333, are the biggest cards, usually with one or two title fights. Fight Night cards are the weekly events in between. Rounds in the UFC last five minutes. Most fights are three rounds; main events and title fights are five rounds.
The UFC has eight men’s weight classes, from flyweight to heavyweight, and women’s divisions at strawweight, flyweight and bantamweight. The limits are in pounds, and fighters must make weight the day before the event.

What counts as a big fight night?
- UFC: every UFC event, both the numbered events and the Fight Night cards.
- Boxing: the major cards, with world title fights and the biggest names.
When a promotion has not announced the start time yet, the card shows “TBC” and the date. It updates as soon as a time is out.
Why fight times change
Fight cards change more than any other sport. Fighters pull out, bouts move between cards, and start times shift for TV. This page checks for changes every day, but on the night itself the order of fights can still move around. Check the official listing on the day if you need the exact ring walk.

Boxing tonight in your time zone
US fight nights land in the middle of the night in the UK and Europe, and on the next morning in Australia. Fights in the UK, Europe or the Middle East are easier: they usually start in the evening for European viewers. This page does the time maths for you.
